Viacom Media International Networks wanted to create a Programme for High Potential Employees to support their Career Growth. The programme was initiated based on feedback from the employee engagement survey.
The goals for the programme were:
We ran an accelerated pilot programme with a group of 25 participants nominated across VIMN’s countries.
We carried out a combination or group webinar sessions and 1-to-1 sessions with the Managers to share external research and understand challenging to enabling career growth.
Participants attended a 4 month programme made up of 2 X 1-to-1 Coaching sessions and 6 X 90 minute webinar topics. Over the course of the programme participants developed a deeper understanding of themselves, where they are now and what they want from work and life. They were encouraged to research and set up meetings to develop understanding of the organisation/industry in order to identify which skills and knowledge needed to develop.
The aim of the pilot programme was to ensure that the programme worked effectively as webinars across different cultures and languages as well checking that the content was practical, engaging and actionable.
